The project lpOD "Langages & plateformes Open Documents" was elected by the ANR for 2008 under "Contents and Interactions". The financing of projects labelled "Contents and Interactions" focuses on supporting and promoting digital content string techniques: creation, capture, production, publication, access, exchange, storing, and also financial, usage, security and legal aspects.
Open Document Format is developed and supported by the Oasis consortium, and implemented by lpOD .
The lpOD project uses the ODF standard and uses an open API developed with Python, Perl and Ruby.
